Wow. This guy is a monster! Most people people think Bireli = Gipsy Jazz, but he’s an all-round guitar phenomena. There’s hardly any talking in this course, but it’s packed with awesome playing and original, interesting lines. I’ve been playing for many years and this is going to keep me busy for a long, long time.
Wim Bakker
Not for the faint-hearted!! I can just about manage some of this at the slower speed loop setting… What a player. Seriously man.
Thomas Richards
Very good course. Excellent playing.
Jean Francois Durand
Amazing player, one of my favorites! It’s really nice to have one part only electric guitar and the second part acoustic manouce guitar. It’s like having two courses, great job Bireli!
Michael Hoffmann
SO much material to learn! Very advanced lines, the slow down and loop mode really helped so far. Thanks a lot!
Tom Miletic
Great Sound and unbelievably flashy lines! Bireli really does deliever on any level, but i whish he would explain his lines and play a bit more…otherwise very cool course. The Soundslice really helps the learning.
Mike Roberts
I remember first hearing Bireli Lagrene when my teacher gave me a cassette tape of his “Standards” album. I was blown away by it! I am not a Gypsy Jazz player so the second half of this course didn’t have much use for me but the first half, which is all about Rhyhtm Changes is phenomenal. I highly recommend this course!
Jose Vargas
Bireli not teaching much in this video, more showing phrases. But still a nice course.
Brent Howard
Bireli will always be one of the best! There are so many examples of lines that it will take me a while to digest them let alone get them under my fingers and be able to incorporate them in my playing.
